Tobias M. Eckrich hatte die M\u00f6glichkeit das Spiel vorg\u00e4ngig zu testen. Einige Eindr\u00fccke sind auf der Homepage der DTG<\/a> zusammengefasst. Er schreibt dazu:<\/p>\n

Gestartet wird in Cirith Ungol, den Bergen am Rande von Mordor, wo Gollum gem\u00e4\u00df Geschichte ist. Die Handlung und damit die Gebiete sind ziemlich linear. Dennoch bieten die Entwickler die M\u00f6glichkeit, hier und da etwas zu erkunden. Dabei sind unterschiedliche Wege durch das Spiel m\u00f6glich.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Der Kampf ist dabei nicht das Mittel der Wahl, sondern die Heimlich- und Listigkeit. Gollum benutzt zwar fallengelassene Waffen, aber dies sei eher die Ausnahme. Eckrich, erster Vorsitzender der DTG, schreibt auch noch zur Eigenst\u00e4ndigkeit der Interpretation von J.R.R. Tolkien:<\/p>\n
