In September the german newspaper the Funkenflug initiates a new competition – the Crafting Sparks. Two fields of Lord of the Rings online are on the spot – crafting and decorations, usually used for recreation and creative issues.

Every craft requires its master, is a german saying. In Middle-earth too, every craft area is fully developed and can be mastered. Some recipes are made to create housing decorations aswell.
This is on the spot in this contest. Self-made decorations should be combined with one of the pets or an animated decorations like an animal or a person. This scene should be part of a story, which has to be submitted as a texte with either pictures or a video. It could also be both of them. The essay illuminates the scene or writes down a (potential) story about it.
The competition likes to get on the bottom of this two issues. Following the exact conditions:

Everyone can participate, no matters which server.
Deadline:
10th October, 24:00 o’clock GMT

The Funkenflug is allowed to publish all submitted materials.
Competition requests:
Everybody can participate once. Every participant has to fulfil and submit following points:
- Every submission includes at central position a crafted decoration object. This object has to be combined with a pet or animated decoration object (men or animal). Other decos are possible.
- Every submission includes an essay. This contains for example the creation, the idea, the composition or a story around the scene.
- Every submission has to document the scene in pictures or video and send these. .
- Every submission has to submit the name of the originator (ig), a picture (ig) and the adress of the scene.
Further consolations are welcome.
Evaluation:
The Jury, members of the editor board and external persons, will evaluate all submissions. Eventually the readers will be asked for their opinion. The exact mode of evaluation depends on the numbers of submissions and will be communicated at 10th October to all participants.
The criterias for the evaluation are the idea, the creativity and effort, the medias and textes and a personal rating of the jury members. (It hasn’t to be roleplay conform, but it’s an advantage when the story makes sense.)
Prices/rewards:
Every participant’s idea will be presented in the Funkenflug coverage. The best ten get a pet or decoration item from a list of possibilities (unfortunately only for people of Belegaer). The best seven will be rewarded additionally with 100 (Lotro-) points. The best five draw the title “Event winner”. The best three get to it again 100 (Lotro-) points and the decoration « Best house in the neighborhood trophy». And the winner can again choose a pet or decoration item from a list of possibilities (unfortunately only for people of Belegaer).
